A Day of Art, Yoga & Rest

With Eleanor and Katrina, at Bellows Mill in Eaton Bray.

 This day retreat will be all about taking a pause to reconnect to yourself and recharge your energy. Through gentle yoga, mindfulness activities, and creative practices you will find a way of resting that suits your unique needs.

Eleanor and Katrina bring their unique skills from yoga, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and art to blend different modalities of soothing and nourishing the mind, body and spirit.

The day will be inspired by the seasonal transitions to Autumn, a time of slowing down, getting cosy and moving inward. Let’s gather some good people, nourishing food and soulful activities to enter Autumn feeling rejuventated.

This retreat is for you if you would like:

·      To explore how to use art materials for a meditative practice

·      To spend time in nature and escape your busy life for a day

·      Are curious about different ways of moving your body with the intention of feeling better, not just ‘getting fit’

·      You want to rest, but don’t know how.

Timetable of the day

(timings are subject to change)

10:30 -11:30am          Welcoming circle & gentle yoga, inspired by the 5 elements season of Autumn

11:30am – 12pm         Mindfulness and inspiration walk in the natural surroundings.

12 – 1pm                     Vegetarian food and down time

1pm -1:45                   A blend of energizing and relaxation techniques inspired by Chinese Medicine.

 1:45pm – 2pm            Tea break

2pm -3:30pm              Art & Mindfulness session

3:30pm – 4:15pm       Yin & Restorative yoga

 4:15pm – 4:30pm       Closing circle and sharing reflections from the day.
