One to One Yoga

I offer one to one classes in a variety of yoga styles, which you can read about below. I teach face to face within a 5 mile radius of Edlesborough, Buckinghamshire and /or online for further afield. Please contact me if you would like any more information or you want to book a session with me.

Restorative

Supportive shapes to bring the body and mind to a point of stillness, facilitating health and relaxation. I use props, bolsters and cushions to support the body so that you can find ease and allow the nervous system to shift into parasympathetic mode (our rest and digest state). These practices restore the nervous system and have enormous benefits on mood, menopausal symptoms, digestion, stress and ease the daily stresses.

Slow Vinyasa Flow

My style of general classes are inspired by Slow Flow Vinyasa. I include the sun salutations as a way of warming the body and joints and to give autonomy to the student with a familiar sequence. My classes will focus on moving slowly and mindfully so that you can connect the breath and body together and reach a meditative flow.

I am able to differentiate to the needs of students based on mobility, injuries etc.

Rest Sessions

Art of REST – lettering and watercolour classes with a mindful approach. More about the process than the outcome. Brush lettering with a goal of writing beautiful mantra cards.

 REST in movement – Sloooow movements that sync the breath and postures, a flowing aspect, but not hardcore vinyasa. Can be dialled up to create heat and strength. Can be dialled down to be soothing and restful.

 Pure REST – Using Yin and Restorative shapes to bring the body and mind to a point of stillness. Learning how to use props, bolsters and cushions to support the body so that the student can find ease and allow the nervous system to shift into parasympathetic mode (our rest and digest state). These practices have enormous benefits on mood, menopausal symptoms, digestion, stress and ease the daily stresses.

 ALL THE REST – Combining all of the above in a bespoke, personally tailored package over the course of one month.
