Yin Yoga

Longer held poses that are mostly mat based. By holding a pose for a longer amount of time (between 2-10mins) the body can soften and release tension. Works on the connective tissues in the body, rather than just stretching muscles. Improves flexibility, meditative quality. Can be challenging or restoring depending on use of props and going to the edge.

Vinyasa Yoga

My style of general classes are inspired by Slow Flow Vinyasa. I include the sun salutations as a way of warming the body and joints and to give autonomy to the student with a familiar sequence. My classes will focus on moving slowly and mindfully so that you can connect the breath and body together and reach a meditative flow.

Restorative Yoga

Supportive shapes to bring the body and mind to a point of stillness, facilitating health and relaxation. I use props, bolsters and cushions to support the body so that you can find ease and allow the nervous system to shift into parasympathetic mode (our rest and digest state). These practices restore the nervous system and have enormous benefits on mood, menopausal symptoms, digestion, stress and ease the daily stresses.

Eleanor is a deeply inspiring teacher who brings playfulness and inclusivity to the ability to rest deeply through both movement and stillness. Her creativity and sense of humour make me never want to miss a class!
